Good luck Mrs Richards and Mrs Thomas!

We have two members of staff retiring at the end of this term on Friday 16th July, both of whom have been in Cilffriw for many years:

Mrs V. Richards

Mrs Richards has touched the lives of so many pupils and families through her work in the Speech and Language Unit and her role as Additional Learning Needs Coordinator.  She has always shown great dedication to all the children in the school as well as supporting other staff members with ALN paperwork, strategies and training.  I know Mrs Richards will be greatly missed and all staff at school wish her a happy and restful retirement.

Mrs N. Williams has been appointed as our new Class 7 teacher and ALNCo.  She will be starting with us in September.

Mrs J. Thomas

The children have always affectionately called Mrs Thomas “Nanna”, and she has been part of our school family for many years, during Breakfast Club and lunch hour.  Mrs Thomas has been amazing this year with all the changes to lunchtime routines and has kept all our children safe.  Nanna – you deserve a peaceful retirement.  Thank you for everything you have done for all the children.
