This term our junior children decided to develop our junior nature trail. Collectively they created this project and named it ‘Our Enchanted Woodland’. Each class planned, designed and created fairy doors linked to our Welsh culture and heritage.
Each class chose a theme for their fairy door designs. Year 3 chose Welsh historical figures, Year 4 chose Welsh myths and legends, Year 5 chose Welsh sports stars, Year 6 chose Welsh landmarks and Class 8 chose traditional Welsh songs.
All children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this project and are looking to phase 2 (to be revealed!)
Also a big thank you to our DIY expert Mr Pearce who kindly helped us to create our fairy doors.
