We have been informed that there has been a positive case of Covid-19 in your child’s class. TTP may ring you if your child has been identified as a contact. They will then give advice to follow. Under the current Welsh Assembly protocols, children no longer need to self-isolate or stay home from school if there is a positive case in class. Unless your child has already had Covid-19 within the last 90 days, we would advise the following precautions:
- Be extra vigilant and watch for symptoms in your own child.
- Keep your child away from any vulnerable family members.
- Organise a PCR test to check your own child – even if they do not have symptoms.
- You can send your child to school – there is no requirement to keep them home.
Please contact the school if you have any questions.
