Sustainability Week

At the moment we are preparing for the New Curriculum for Wales.  Central to the New Curriculum are four core purposes:

During the week of 20th May, all classes will be taking part in a Sustainability Week.  We want our children to be ethical, informed citizens who show commitment to the sustainability of the planet.  Children will be leading the learning and taking part in a wide range of activities throughout the week.  They will learn about energy conservation, recycling, plastics in the oceans, rainforest conservation, farming and water conservation.  There will also be sustainability assemblies throughout the week where classes can share their learning with the rest of the school.
