Admissions to School

Starting school at the age of 3, is a huge milestone for you as parents and carers. We understand that transitions are really important and need to be managed really well so that your precious little one, and you as grown ups are supported as best as possible. All school admissions are completed centrally through the local authority and more details can be found below on this process. As soon as we are informed that you will be joining our school community, we will get in touch with you send out a welcome letter and pack with all the information you need to know. We will be in touch to arrange a ‘Meet and Greet’ session with you as parents/ carers. This will provide us with lots of information in order to settle your child into school as best that we can. During this session, we will also organise some stay and play sessions for your child to come into the Nursery Class and familiarise themselves with the environment. We will also agree a start date (usually the day after their 3rd birthday). The Nursery staff are very accommodating and if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to pick up the phone. We also have an onsite private childcare facility, more details on this can be found in our ‘Wrap Around Care’ section of the website.
