Welsh Week

Wythnos Cwmraig/Welsh Week – 24th to 28th February
We will be celebrating this year with a full week of Welsh activities: Welsh songs, stories, songs, crafts and activities. Children will be learning about Welsh culture, history and geography throughout their daily lessons. There will not be an Eisteddfod this year; instead the children will take part in a special assembly on Friday morning where each class will share something that they have learned during the week.
We will be celebrating St. David’s Day on Friday 28th February.
Children may wear Welsh costumes, rugby shirts or Welsh hats. Lunch will be pork and leek sausage and chips, with Welsh cakes to follow.Spring 2020
